About the Author
Kiyoshi Imaki
Former TV Asahi producer
Professor, Nishinippon College
Head of Department of Media*Promotion
Born in 1962. Graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Letters, Department of French Literature.
As a producer at TV Asahi, he produced many dramas such as [Hagure Keiji Junjo-ha] and [Saturday Wide Gekijo].
In 2020, he became a professor at the Department of Media*Promotion, Nishinippon Junior College. He specializes in media theory.
He lectures on TV drama theory, film theory, and journalism theory.
As a producer of the department's student idols, he formed the idol unit [Nishitan MP Department Sakura Gumi].
In the midst of the Corona disaster, he sought ways in which student idols could be of use to society and launched the [Corona no Nyorena! Project] was launched.
[Nishi Tankan MP Department Sakura-gumi] produced the department's original songs [Akarui Houhe] and [Shiawase ni Nanitai!] and other activities to promote entertainment from Fukuoka.
