Corona is an infectious disease that has robbed people around the world of their daily lives and caused many deaths.
Although the outbreak is now under control, the threat will not be eliminated in the future. For the elderly, it remains a serious and life-threatening infectious disease.
In Japan, people who hid their faces with masks went to work, went shopping, and stood in line for vaccinations, all the while fearing infection. People's hearts and minds were exhausted by the long period of anxious and uncertain lives. Things that had been taken for granted before were restricted, and even opportunities for people to meet and talk with each other became rare. It was also a time when it was difficult to see people's real faces and hearts.
The days of the Corona disaster soon became a new normal, and as the virus became less virulent, people were able to live without masks in an increasing number of situations. This collection of photographs is a precious record of the moment when people took off their masks and took a step forward from their long-lasting inconvenience to a brighter day.
The women who cooperated as models were those who responded to our call on social networking sites and helped us take the photos. Each of them stood in front of the camera with their own feelings in their hearts, and at that moment when they took off their masks and showed their true faces, what did the world look like?
[See You in the Future" is not only a record of the turning point of the Corona disaster, but also a collection of photographs to hand down the memories of each of us who experienced the disaster together to "the future.

Takuya Suzuki Yamabico- Photographer.
Photographer, born in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture in 1985. Author name is yamabico.
Graduated from Musashino Art University, Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Imaging Arts and Sciences. Specializes in photographing products, food, and people.
He has been shooting many advertisement photos. Solo exhibition, OM SYSTEM GALLERY, 2024.2.1~2.12.
Received the 9th & 10th Photography Publication Award, Excellence Prize at the JPS Exhibition, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, 2023.
Selected for the 6th Salon de l'Art Japonais 2023 @ Linda Farrell Galerie, Paris, France. Many other Honorable Mentions* and Exhibitions.
