Kani is a remarkable illustrator who delicately draws fantastic illustrations of a different world with cute, dark, and retro tones.
This luxurious book contains three newly drawn illustrations (a cover illustration and two making-of illustrations*) along with carefully selected works that trace the transition from the early days of her activities to the present. The making of the book is also a highlight of the book, showing the behind-the-scenes process of how the works were created. In addition, rough sketches, which can be considered the basis of the works, and an interview article that delves into the secrets of the artist's creation are also included in the nearly 200-page volume.
