About the Author
Kiyoshi Imaki
After graduating from the University of Tokyo with a degree in French Literature, Kiyoshi Imaki joined TV Asahi. As a producer, he worked on a number of programs including "Hagure Keiji Junjo-ha" and "Saturday Wide Gekijo".
In 2020, he became a professor at the Department of Media*Promotion, Nishinippon Junior College. He specializes in media theory. He lectures on TV drama theory, film theory, and journalism theory.
As a producer of the department's student idols, he formed the idol unit [Nishitan MP Department Sakura-gumi]. In the midst of the Corona Disaster, she has been searching for ways in which student idols can play a role in society, and launched the [Corona ni natte nasu! Project].
