This tapestry is made with high-quality Tokuoka fabric typically used for tenugui hand towels, adorned with a hand-dyed Magatama pattern applied by craftsmen at a dyeing mill that has been in operation since 1907. The look of the Magatama pattern decorating this soft cloth changes slightly with the atmosphere and lighting of the entryway, living room or alcove it is placed in.
