Description
| Mr. Kitayama of the pottery artist Eaves Under the Tsubame Kiln was a free-spirited potter. This chopstick rest was also fired on a whim, and I bought up all the chopstick rests that were lined up on a mortarboard. I bought all of them. There are two other types with different glazes, but I think that they are all pottery that has mastered the quintessence of Mino ware. I think they are the quintessential Mino ware. Unfortunately, the artist passed away suddenly five years ago. |
