*Picture postcard [Yushoku Tachi-Hina] K-148* (Japanese only) Circa 1882 (Meiji 15) (Lent by Kyoto National Museum) This is a picture postcard of "Yushoku Rikuhina" from the collection of Kyoto National Museum. [Yushoku tachi-hina were specially commissioned dolls made for court nobles and warriors under the supervision of court nobles who were well versed in the art of dress. They are characterized by their attempt to faithfully reproduce the costumes of court nobles in terms of hairstyle*color of costumes*patterns, etc. We recommend these dolls not only as seasonal gifts for those close to you, but also as interior decorations for your room.
