Description
| Stylish tenugui hand towel made by the traditional Japanese technique [shizome]. These tenugui hand towels are painstakingly dyed one by one by hand using the Sogizome technique, which has been handed down since the Meiji era (1868-1912). You can enjoy the subtle texture of hand-dyeing, such as the unique coloring and blurring that only Sogi-dyeing can produce. In the Edo period (1603-1867), it was said that an arrow shot at a marriage would not come back, and therefore it was considered a good-luck charm. It was considered a good-luck charm. Tenugui has many advantages not found in towels, such as being "less bulky," "quick-drying," and having "unique patterns. Why don't you use them in a stylish way like the people of the Edo period? |
