| Stylish tenugui hand towel made by the Japanese traditional technique [shizome (tie-dyeing)]. These tenugui hand towels are painstakingly dyed one by one by hand using the Sogizome technique, which has been handed down since the Meiji era (1868-1912). You can enjoy the subtle texture of hand-dyeing, such as the unique hues and blurring that only Sogi-dyeing can produce. Autumn leaves dancing in the autumn sky are expressed by the gradation of colors only possible with the special technique of dip-dyeing. The five-story pagoda peeking out from the back of the towel is a charming touch. Tenugui has many advantages that towels do not have, such as "not bulky," "dries quickly," and "has unique patterns.
