| This is Kimono Mikawa's original summer kimono* yukata. This [Hitosusuri] is a simple monochromatic yet impactful kimono. It can be worn as a yukata. It can also be enjoyed as a summer kimono with long underwear. It can be worn for celebrations, parties, dinners, outings, weddings, etc. The base material is made of Toray Theo Alpha. The fabric has a smooth feel on the skin with moderate firmness and elasticity. It excels in sweat absorption* and quick-drying, so it is comfortable to wear in summer. The free-size tailored product is a popular size, with a slightly longer length of 70 cm from the sleeve to the end of the sleeve than a standard pret-a-porter. *TORISEO ALPHA material is a new, cool and refreshing material that is completely different from ordinary polyester material. It is a comfortable material with excellent air permeability, quick-drying, and pleasant to the touch even during the hot summer season. Generally, people tend to think that polyester material is too hot for summer kimonos, but this is not the case with Theo Alpha. It is so much cooler than ordinary cotton yukata. |
