| Sori Yanagi sori yanagi black-patterned cutlery is soft and comfortable in the hand, and the stainless steel joints are exquisitely beautiful. Sori Yanagi design is based on ease of use. Yanagi Sori cutlery combines the curve of a fork for both [stabbing] and [placing], the width of a knife blade for both [coating] and [cutting], a tip for easy scooping of desserts, and a roundness and depth for easy placing, all of which have been carefully calculated and designed. The more you use it, the more you will feel that it is the perfect cutlery. Yanagi Sori black handled cutlery is made of laminated tempered birch wood, which is soft and comfortable in the hand. The joint between the handle and stainless steel is exquisitely beautiful. There are currently only two craftsmen who are able to beautifully finish the stainless steel and tempered wood as if they were a single piece of handle. The balance between the head and the black handle is exquisite. However, please note that the wood is water absorbent, so it will loosen or discolor if it is soaked in water for a long period of time. 柳宗理デザインは使いやすさが基本です。
柳宗理カトラリーは「刺す」と「のせる」を両立するフォークのカーブ、「塗る」と「切る」をこなすナイフの刃物の広さ、デザートをすくいやすい先端とのせやすい丸み、深さを兼ね備え、全て計算つくされデザインされているので使えば使うほど完璧なカトラリーと実感すること間違いありません。
柳宗理 黒柄カトラリーは柔らかく手に馴染む、カバ材積層強化木を使用。この柄とステンレスの接合部分は絶妙な美しさです。ステンレスと強化木をひとつながりの柄のように美しく仕上げられる研摩職人は、なんと現在ふたりだけ。握ってひやりとせず、ヘッドと黒柄のバランスが絶妙です。
ただし、木の特性として吸水性があるので、長く水につけておくと、ゆるんだり変色したりするので御注意下さい。グッドデザイン賞受賞商品 (通産省選定)
