喜多川 歌麿（きたがわ うたまろ）
宝暦3〜文化3年（1753〜1806）、出身地未詳。幼少から絵を学び写生画で注目され、のち美人画で人気を博す。「大首絵」という形式で女性の表情の微細な変化を描きとり、肖像としても優れた作品を生み出した。代表作は『詩撰恋之部』『婦人相学十躰』。
