| *Chopstick rest [Rosanjin GONOMI] Kataguchi*. Rosanjin Kitaoji This chopstick rest is hand-carved by a craftsman on natural bamboo with illustrations drawn by Rosanjin. We made this chopstick rest from an illustration drawn by Rosanjin from Hoshioka Saryo's monthly magazine [Hoshioka]. The surface of the natural bamboo is dyed and hand-carved one by one by a craftsman. Each chopstick rest has a different size and appearance, which can only be achieved by natural* handcrafting. Kitaoji Rosanjin Born between 1883 and 1959. He was a genius artist who pursued beauty through food, working in ceramics, calligraphy, and painting. His talent as an advisor and head chef was fully demonstrated at Hoshioka Saryo, a Japanese-style restaurant run by Nakamura Chikushiro, the fourth generation of Nakamura Chikushiro, and became a dominant force. #It is also recommended for inbound visitors. |

魯山人の描いた挿図を、天然竹に職人が手彫りした箸置きです。
星岡茶寮の月間誌『星岡』より、魯山人が描いた挿図を箸置きにいたしました。
天然竹の表面を染めた上に、職人が1個1個、手彫りしています。
それぞれ大きさや見た目が違うのは、天然・手作りならではです。
北大路 魯山人（きたおおじ ろさんじん）
明治16〜昭和34（1883〜1959）年。陶芸・書・画を自ら手掛け、食を通じて美を追求した天才芸術家です。便利堂四代目・中村竹四郎が経営した料亭「星岡茶寮（ほしがおかさりょう）」では、顧問・料理長である魯山人の才能が遺憾なく発揮され一世を風靡しました。
