He inherited the traditional delicate and beautiful style of painting, and left behind many Genji-e paintings in particular. 土佐光吉（とさ みつよし）
天文11〜慶長18年（1539〜1613）。土佐派中興の祖とされる。室町時代から江戸時代にかけて画派を問わず描かれた源氏絵の絵師。宮廷の絵所預の跡継ぎの門人で、30歳頃土佐派の跡を継いだ。伝統としてあった繊細で美しい画風を受け、特に多くの源氏絵を残す。代表作は『重文 源氏物語絵色紙帖』。#源氏
