Description
| NAKUUK presents a series of letter paper-like designs [PAPER] made of horse gripe leather. Inspired by letter paper, shopping bags and envelopes made from paper, we created this series. Horsehide leather is a difficult material to sew, so much so that it is said to make craftsmen cry, but it is softer than cowhide and yet has a firm and solid texture that brings out a luxurious feel. The act of wrapping a leather strap around a cow is far removed from futuristic design, but we have incorporated this "act" itself into the design, considering it not as a waste but as a beautiful and humanistic "taste". We hope you will try our "attention to detail" that shines softly in the minimalist design. |
