木製品はステンレス製のような強度がなく、使用するうちに多少の歪みが生じます。
また、繰り返しの使用で少しずつ表面の色が変化致します。
使用するうちに湿気や乾燥により本体の反りやひび割れが生じる場合があります。
木の油気が抜けて表面が白っぽくなったら市販のオリーブオイルなどの食用油を少し摺り込み拭き取ってから保管してください。
ひび割れ防止になり美しい木目を際立たせてくれます。
オリーブの木の材料の特性上、傷や小さなひび割れ、加工時の傷や修復跡、虫食い跡、汚れがございます。
形が歪んでいる等、かなりワイルドで粗い作りになっていますが、予めご了承ください（不良品扱いとはなりません）
さらに、使用しているうちに曲がってきたり、ひびが入ったりすることもございます。
オリーブの木独特の味としてご理解いただければ幸いです。
【お取扱いの注意点】
■電子レンジのご使用はお止め下さい。電子レンジの極端な温度・温度変化は割れ・ヒビの入る原因となります。
■食器洗浄機、硬いスポンジやたわしのご使用はお止め下さい。
水分を吸収・放出する木の性質をそのまま持ち合わせています。
食器乾燥機の高温・乾燥は木地を急激に歪ませ、塗りの表面にヒビが入る原因となります。
ストーブの近くや直射日光・スポットライトの当たる場所での保管もお止め下さい。長時間強い光や熱に曝されると反りや割れを生じることがあります。
■長時間の浸水はお止め下さい。
木は水を吸収します。木製品を水に浸けたままにすると木地が歪む原因となります。
湿気の高い場所での保管もお止め下さい。
■洗ったあとはすぐに拭くことをおすすめします。
濡れたまま放置せずに乾拭きし、十分に水気をとってから自然乾燥させて下さい。十分に乾燥させてからご収納下さい。
■食品・食材の色移りにご注意下さい。
金属やプラスティックと違い、木には節や導管がありますので色が濃い食品や食材・お料理は色移りすることがあります。
■木目や節について 天然木の製品は個々によって色・形・厚み・サイズ・重さ・木目の節の大小の誤差があります。
これらは金属やプラスティックと異なり個性としてお楽しみいただけます。
