Each coconut-like fruit of the Binlow tree is hand painted with three gods: Jagannath, his elder brother Balarama, and his younger sister Subhadra. Each is a one-of-a-kind piece with a different color. About Jagannath (Jagannatha) One of the deities of Hinduism. Originally an indigenous deity worshipped in the state of Orissa in southeastern India, he was identified with Krishna in Hinduism and merged into Hinduism. The main deity is worshipped at the [Jagannath Temple] in Orissa, one of the four holy places in Hinduism, along with Jagannath, his brother Balarama, and his sister Subhadra. Therefore, Jagannath is often depicted together with the above-mentioned siblings. |

ジャガンナート（ジャガンナータ）について
ヒンドゥー教の神様の一つ。もともとは、インド南東部オリッサ州で信仰される土着神だったものが、ヒンドゥー教におけるクリシュナ神として同一視されて、ヒンドゥー教に併合されたもの。 ヒンドゥー教の四大聖地のひとつとされるオリッサ州の「ジャガンナート寺院」に本尊があり、ジャガンナート、兄のバララーマ、妹のスバドラーと共に祀られている。そのため、ジャガンナートは上記の兄妹とともに描かれることが多い。
