These hand-woven linen scarves are hand-embroidered in Kolkata, eastern India, one by one using Kantha embroidery, a traditional technique also used in Kolkata and other parts of Bengal. The gradation of embroidery threads gives the flower motifs depth and vitality. The linen material is moisture absorbent and quick-drying, so it can be used comfortably even in midsummer.
