Description
| [Made in Japan] Minoyaki Shofu Kiln, Yoji Sone, SENDAN rice bowl, two colors, tableware/rice bowl, North American style [Product Description] This is a rice bowl produced by Yoji Sone of Shofugama, a Minoyaki potter and Nitten artist. The traditional "sen-dan" technique has been rearranged in a modern style to create a stylish bowl. The surface of the sen-dan is easy to hold and light, making it easy for women, children, and the elderly to use. The thousand-step technique is a pattern in which raw clay is placed on a potter's wheel and the spinning clay is scraped from below, requiring a high level of skill. The texture is pleasant to the touch, and the warmth of the clay can be felt. Mr. Sone uses two colors of clay, black and white, instead of the traditional single color, to express this ancient Japanese technique in a modern design. The rice bowl can be used not only as a rice bowl, but also as a bowl to serve salads, yogurt, and other side dishes. Recommended for inbound sales. |
