| EDISIONS Mugs Following the rice bowl, we have planned mugs at designed by studio point. This time, five different potteries have been used to create mugs, each with its own unique characteristics. Even if the body is the same prototype, the size may differ depending on the clay and firing process. The shape of the handle also gives a different impression. Please enjoy the individuality of each kiln. -Marukatsu Pottery Marukatsu Touen skillfully uses glazes that are difficult to control the temperature, such as [crystal glaze] and [kiln-change glaze], to express original colors and luster. Originally intended mainly for export to foreign countries, these pieces have a unique character that is rarely seen in Japan. With a strong spirit of inquiry for manufacturing, they produce expressions that other companies cannot imitate even if they tried. |

EDISIONSのマグカップ
ライスボウルに続いて、designed by studio point でマグカップを企画しました。
今回は5つの窯元でそれぞれの特徴を引き出した表現となっております。
ボディが同じ原型でも、それぞれの土や焼成によってサイズも違ってきたり、
取っ手の形によって印象がかなり変わったりします。窯元の持つ個性を楽しんでください。

もともと海外への輸出用が中心だったため、国内ではあまり見ないような個性があります。
