うさぎの育て方の本を、というお話をお受けしたとき、
真っ先に思った事は、私がうさぎと出会ったときに、
「こんな情報があったら」と望んだことを
書こうという気持ちでした。
はじめて目にした純血種のうさぎ（アメリカンファジーロップ）は
この世のものとは思えない可愛さで、
その見た目に魅了されたのだと思います。
しかし、いざたくさんのうさぎと暮らしていくうちに、
だっこの難しさ、爪切りとの戦い、
何をどうすればよいのか、信じるべき情報もない時代でした。
病気の情報も、うさぎを診られる獣医も少ない中で、
自分で学ぶしか道はなく、気が付けば、
うさぎ一筋の人生となっていました。
この本は、ブリーダーとして同じ屋根の下で
のべ100頭近いうさぎと暮らし続けてきた
