Description
| This kyusu has been ingeniously designed to make brewing Japanese tea tasty and easy. The inside of the kyusu is designed to allow the tea leaves to fully spread out and the tea water to pour out to the last drop without dripping. The handle is also shaped to fit comfortably in the hand. The integrated tea strainer makes it easy to dispose of tea leaves and to clean. The strainer holes are hand-punched one by one by craftsmen. The lid and sides are unevenly shaped by the tobikanna technique (a technique in which a pattern is created by applying a layer of clay to the raw material, rotating it with a wheel, and then using a curved plane to remove the clay), and the diamond cuts that have been cut off are also fascinating. 急須内は茶葉が十分広がる空間で、茶湯も垂れにくく最後の一滴まで注げる構造に仕上げました。持ち手も手に馴染むよう工夫された形状になっています。
また茶こし一体型なので茶葉が捨てやすくお手入れも楽チンです。
茶こし穴は一つ一つ手作業で職人が開けています。
蓋や側面にはトビカンナ技法（生乾きの生地に化粧土をかけた後、ロクロで回転させながら、湾曲した鉋で化粧土部分を削り取って模様をつける技法）で凹凸を付け、また削ぎ落してあしらわれた「ダイヤカット」にも魅了されます。
