| A beautiful silhouette coffee cup with legs. The cup is made with a small diameter to prevent the temperature of coffee from dropping. The mouth of the cup is thick and creates a soft feeling in the mouth when drinking coffee. Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, is the town of Setomono. Each cup is carefully fired one by one by craftsmen of Mugiyama Kiln, which has been in business since 1922. In order to strengthen the clay, the maximum temperature is raised to 1,320°C to burn off impurities remaining in the clay. With experience and techniques that have been handed down since the Taisho era (1912-1926), they spare no pains and put their hearts into making durable vessels that can be used for a long time.
