器の真ん中あたりがほんの薄っすらとブルーに色づいた「霧氷」シリーズ。
まるで深い森の中、霧に包まれた氷面鏡のよう。
氷にみえる加工は貫入模様といい、釉薬(うわ薬)と素地の収縮率の差により、焼成後の冷却時に生じるひび模様のこと。
器を焼成後、冷ましている時に「ピンピン」と貫入が入る音はとても美しいです。
シンプルな白も奥深い印象に。
