| Misty Flost 13.5cm Bowl Misty Flost 13.5cm Bowl The "Misty Flost" series bowls have a faint blue color in the center of the bowl. It looks like an ice mirror surrounded by fog in a deep forest. The process that looks like ice is called "kannyu-go," which is a pattern of cracks created during cooling after firing due to the difference in shrinkage rate between the glaze and the base material. The sound of the piercing when the vessel is cooled down after firing is very beautiful. Although it is a simple vessel, it goes well with a variety of dishes. Misty Flost 13.5cm Bowl
器の真ん中あたりがほんの薄っすらとブルーに色づいた「霧氷」シリーズ。
まるで深い森の中、霧に包まれた氷面鏡のよう。
氷にみえる加工は貫入模様といい、釉薬(うわ薬)と素地の収縮率の差により、焼成後の冷却時に生じるひび模様のこと。
器を焼成後、冷ましている時に「ピンピン」と貫入が入る音はとても美しいです。
シンプルな器ながら様々なお料理によく合います。
