| [What is a band?] Ichiro Yamaguchi of Sakanaction, Tadahiro Tsai of bonobos, Shigeru Kishida of Kururi, Keiichi Sogabe of Sunny Day*Service, Hiroto Komoto of The*Cromagnons, and their answers. Bands are mysterious. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a new product or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea to have a new product. A junior high school student who just bought a guitar yesterday looks somewhat, why not, proud just because he [has formed a band]. They are at the peak of their career, but for some reason, they easily break up and become a legend. A collection of human beings who, at any given moment, are bound together harder than diamonds, but who are also fragile, as if they could disintegrate with the impact of an eraser dropped on the floor. In order to find out the answer to the question, "What is it that makes [bands] so fascinating, so strange? Mr. Yamaguchi of Sakanaction compared [the band] to a botanical garden, [a mass where individuality comes alive as it is, The band's view is that "individuality is a mass where individuality is still alive, but if you take a step back and look at it, there is a world of its own".
