| The U.S. military has a long history of denim work uniforms, beginning with the brown denim of the M1918, which was later replaced by blue denim. The old style was a pullover style, but it was unpopular because the structure of the pockets often caused items to fall out or get caught and damaged. Later, in the 1940s, the style was changed to the coverall style. The problems with the old style were greatly improved, and the reputation was not bad, but it was only worn for about one year due to the use of olive green herringbone twill. This item is a faithful reproduction of such a rare and extremely valuable coverall type. The item is packed with details such as a large collar and engraved metal buttons. |
