Description
What is Dokla Art? Traditional brass crafts using the lost wax technique of the Kondh, an indigenous tribe in southeastern India. Originally, it was made as a religious symbol, such as an animal as a clan symbolizing blood relations (similar to the Hopi clan) or a symbol of the sacrificial culture, but now there is no sacrificial culture and it is simply made as a craftwork. |
