Description
This is a Japanese modern vessel that incorporates Japanese taste into a Western form. The glaze is dipped in glaze once, and then sprayed boldly over the top. The accidental overlapping of the glazes gives birth to this one-of-a-kind piece of pottery. This is an easy-to-use dish that goes well with both Japanese and Western cuisine. Oribe glaze is a dark green glaze favored by the warlord and tea master Furuta Oribe. It is one of the characteristics of Mino ware. |
