| Made of Tochigi leather, the highest grade of leather produced in Japan. This pouch has a cute round shape. It is soft and smooth to the touch. The size is just right for carrying small items such as accessories and cosmetics, not to mention coins. A D-can is attached so that you can attach your own strap or key holder. With the strap attached, it can be used as a second wallet for lunch, convenience store, small outings, or travel. The strap is not included. Handcrafted by artisans, each piece of leather is carefully finished to become more comfortable with each touch, and will grow deeper with continued use. Black*Brown*Red*Green has camel leather for the dividers. Camel is made of 5 colors of leather for the main body and the divider. *Tochigi leather, one of the best leathers in Japan Full vegetable tanned leather with an excellent feel This genuine leather is slowly tanned with tannin extracted from the bark of mimosa trees in South America. The tanning method is a highly finished leather created with the skill of a master craftsman. Nugenhide is a processing method suited to the Japanese climate, in which the leather is soaked in a tank filled with tannin solution, and the basic material is created over a period of about one to one and a half months. The leather is then dyed and finished using water-dyeing and other techniques. *Because it is a natural material, it may have some scratches, stains, and wrinkles, and each piece of leather has a different appearance. 南米産のミモザの樹皮から抽出されたタンニン剤で、じっくりなめしあげた純正ぬめ革です。
なめし方法は、匠の技術を駆使して造りあげた、完成度の高いレザーです。
ぬめ革とは、日本の風土に合った加工方法で、タンニン液を満たした槽に皮を浸し、約1ヶ月〜1ヶ月半かけて基礎素材を作り上げた革です。
このぬめ革を、さらに水染め等の手法により染色仕上げをしています。
