Description
| What is Dokla Art? Traditional brass artwork made by the lost wax technique of the indigenous Kondh people of southeastern India. Originally, they were made as religious symbols, such as animals as clan symbols of blood relations (similar to the Hopi clan) and animals as symbols of sacrificial culture, but now there is no sacrificial culture and they are simply made as crafts.
