Although there is no problem with normal use, moisture and oil may seep through if the product is wet for a long period of time. This will change the texture and give it a "flavor", but we recommend applying oil as an easy maintenance method. *Oil application maintenance method Depending on the frequency of use, once or twice a month, soak a cloth or kitchen paper with 100% vegetable oil such as walnut oil and apply a thin layer to the wood. Repeated use and oil replenishment will strengthen the wood and give it a unique texture. |

■ニーム(日本名はインドセンダン)とは
数千年前よりインドでの解毒などの薬草として使われ、聖なる木として知られています。
種子にはアゼティラクチンという蚊やハエなどの虫を寄せつけない成分が含まれており、抽出したオイルは虫除け効果があり日本でも良く知られています。
■お手入れについて
研磨のみの無塗装仕上げです。
通常使用は問題ありませんが、長時間の水濡れなどにより水分や油分がしみ込む場合があります。これにより、風合いが変化して「味」が出てきますが、手軽にできるメンテナンスとしてオイル塗布がおすすめです。
・オイル塗布メンテナンス方法
使用頻度にもよりますが1カ月に1〜2回、ウォールナッツオイルなどの植物性100%のオイルを布やキッチンペーパー等に染み込ませ、木に薄くなじませてください。
使用とオイル補充を繰り返すことにより、木が強くなり、独特の風合いが増していきます。
