| Animation artist Shinichi Suzuki became an animator while interacting with young manga artists at Tokiwaso, and is still creating new works at the age of 90. This book is an essay by Mr. Suzuki, who is also known as the model for [Mr. Koike] who appears in Fujiko Fujio's works, about his activities and his encounters and interactions with his friends. He talks about his three benefactors, Osamu Tezuka, Ryuichi Yokoyama, and Isuke Nakamura, who greatly influenced him as an animator; his time at Otogi Productions, where he honed his animation skills through trial and error from a novice state; and the embrace he felt when he established the animation production company Studio Zero with Fujiko Fujio, Shotaro Ishinomori, Fujio Akatsuka, and Jiro Tsunoda, who were his friends at Tokiwaso. He will also share some of the most important episodes of his career as a leading figure in the animation world, along with rare photos and other materials.
