一般的に染色加工では大量の水を使用します。
たとえば、染型を使うオートスクリーン染色では、1日約90トン程度の水を使用します。
これは、ベルトや染型などの道具類の洗浄などに必要となるからです。
弊社のインクジェット染色では、水を用いるのは、ごく一部の道具洗浄に限られているため、1日約4トン程度の使用量に抑えられます。（約95％削減。）
また、河川の汚染につながる廃液もありません。
