Description
| In collaboration with the Victoria *and* Albert Museum (V&A), England. [Colette pattern] This pattern, a series of Art Nouveau patterns recolored in warm autumnal tones by People*Tree, is based on a print pattern on a 1909 cotton interior decoration cloth in the V&A's collection. Although the artist is unknown, the pattern recalls the geometric patterns of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the floral fabrics sold by Liberty at the time, and conveys the stylistic beauty characteristic of early 20th century British design. This series of accessories is richly textured with gorgeous block prints applied to shoulder bags, card cases, handkerchiefs, and other items. The same items are available in three patterns: [Colette], [Fleur], and [Nini]. This compact card case is easy to use in the cashless era and is decorated with a striking block print. Inside, there are slits for two cards, a coin purse with a button-fastening flap, one pocket, and a key ring. The slim shape makes it easy to slip into a pocket for small purchases. *Snap button closure, key ring inside / Cotton, metal ring, snap button / Sasha *Handicraft / From India [Brand Introduction] People Tree is a brand that specializes in "fair trade" purchases that make both the makers and buyers happy.
