子供の頃、浜辺に行って
貝殻を集めたことがありました。
拾った貝殻の中でも少し大きめの巻貝だと、
耳に当ててみて何やら海の音が聞こえてくるような
気がしました。
貝殻といっしょに波に削られたガラスの破片や、
面白い形をした石、
貝だと思って拾ったらヤドカリだったこともありました。
残念なことですが、そんな思い出のある浜辺が
プラスチックのゴミや不法に投棄されたもので
汚れている状態を目にすることがあります。
できることなら、美しかったままの浜辺で、
貝殻拾いを昔のようにしてみたい。
そう考える大人もいるくらいですから、
