| *Bakir --- Bakir is a copper product made by hand-hammered by craftsmen using traditional techniques. Today, Bakir is most commonly produced in the southern regions of Turkey, such as Urfa and Antep, and is exported as decorative items as well as for use in Turkish restaurants. Bakır is always used for plates and cups in traditional charcoal-grilled kebab restaurants. *What is Aylan? Ailan is a salty yogurt drink. Fresh ayran has a beer-like foam and is very refreshing, so it goes very well with meat dishes. If you order ailán at a restaurant, you will be served it cold and frothy, poured into a copper mug like this one. Since this is a product made of copper, it may be slightly darkened. Due to the nature of the material, rust may appear during use. |

伝統的な技法で職人さんが丁寧にコンコンとたたきながら手打ちして作り上げた銅製品です。
現在では、トルコ南部地域、ウルファ、アンテップなどでの製造がさかんで、装飾品としての輸出向けのほか、トルコ料理店向けにも作られています。
昔ながらの炭火焼きのケバブ料理店では、お皿やカップなどに必ず「バクル」が使われています。
■アイランとは
しょっぱいヨーグルトドリンクのことです。新鮮なアイランはビールのようなモクモクの泡がたっていて、とてもすっきりさっぱりしているので、お肉料理にとてもよくあいます。
レストランなどでアイランを注文すると、泡のたった冷え冷えのアイランをこのような銅製のマグになみなみ注いで出してくれます。
銅を使った商品ですので多少の黒ずみがあります。素材の性質上、使っていくうちに錆が出てくる場合があります。
