The material, Lokta paper, is a traditional Nepalese handmade paper that is gaining attention as a material friendly to people and nature. ■ネパールの伝統的な民芸品アジアンなイラストがプリントされたロクタ紙製のランプシェード。材料であるロクタ紙は、人や自然に優しい素材として注目を集めているネパールの伝統的な手すき紙です。
ランプシェードとして用いることで、丈夫でナチュラルな質感を特徴とするこの紙の魅力をうまく引き出しています。また、吊るし糸とフリンジがそれぞれ違う色でデザインされており、なかなか芸が細かいですね。
■お部屋の雰囲気が一変します暗くなったら、明かりを燈してみて下さい。できれば、オレンジ系の電球をお薦めします。ロクタ紙を通してやわらかな光が部屋を包み、一気にエスニックな雰囲気を演出してくれます。一緒にお香を焚くとさらにいいでしょう。
