Century"] With a history dating back to the early Edo period, the pottery production area is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. A wide range of products are made here, from daily necessities such as teapots and tableware to building materials such as ceramic pipes, tiles, and sanitary ware. The material contains no harmful substances. *The lids and bodies are mortised together to make a pair. Therefore, there are polishing marks on the lid and body. |

常滑焼(とこなめやき)は、平安時代後期から1,000年の歴史を有し、日本六古窯のひとつに数えられる焼き物産地です。急須や食器などの日用品から陶管・タイル・衛生陶器などの建築資材まで幅広い製品がつくられています。昭和51年6月11日、国の「伝統的工芸品産業の振興に関する法律」に基づき伝統的工芸品として産地指定を受けました。
■急須全体が陶器で出来ています。お茶の旨みを抽出することの出来る陶製茶漉し(ささめ茶漉し)は高資窯(たかすけかま)の特徴です。
■湯切れが良く快適に注ぐことが出来ます。
■1〜2人分の容量とお考えください(1人100mlとして)
■白泥陶土を1100度で焼成しています。素材に有害な物質は含まれていません。
■蓋と本体は一対にする為すり合わせ作業を行います。その為蓋と本体に研磨した痕があります。
