Century"] It has a long history and is one of the six oldest pottery production centers in Japan. 常滑焼（とこなめやき）は、平安時代後期から1,000年の歴史を有し、日本六古窯のひとつに数えられる焼き物産地です。昭和51年6月11日、国の「伝統的工芸品産業の振興に関する法律」に基づき伝統的工芸品として産地指定を受けました。
■茶葉が細かい深蒸し茶も安心して使うことの出来るステンレス製の茶漉しを採用しています。
■2人分の容量とお考えください（1人100mlとして）
■鉄分を含んだ朱泥陶土で出来ており、その上から黒色の化粧土を掛け1100度で焼成しています。素材に有害な物質は含まれていません。
■茶殻が捨てやすく本体棚受け部分に切れ込みがあります。（楽捨て構造）
■蓋と本体は一対にする為すり合わせ作業を行います。その為蓋と本体に研磨した痕があります。
