Description
This is a plate L from the Natural series. Combined with a small bowl or sauce pot, you can enjoy a one-plate menu like a café. The "Natural Series" is characterized by simple shapes that emphasize ease of use and nuanced, subdued colors that resemble those found in natural landscapes. There are five colors: white, yellow, gray, green, and navy. All are inspired by the scenery of Mt. Nakao in Hasami-cho, where the workshop of Koharu Kiln is located. Just as there are subtle changes in the colors in nature, subtle changes are expressed in the vessels. The charm of each piece is that it has a different expression because the color changes depending on the temperature and the place where it is placed in the kiln, known as kiln-change glaze. |
