Description
| Tokonameyaki has a 1,000-year history dating back to the late Heian period and is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. A wide range of products are made here, from daily necessities such as teapots and tableware to construction materials such as ceramic pipes, tiles, and sanitary ware. On June 11, 1976, the area was designated as a traditional crafts area based on the national "Law Concerning the Promotion of Traditional Craft Industries. *Tea leaves are placed in the hollows at the top and heated by a light bulb to enjoy the aroma. *The aroma of tea has relaxing and deodorizing effects. *The light can also be enjoyed. |
