Description
[Fabrics] This fabric is called Yukinko Kasuri and Multi Kasuri by Bingo Setsubori. This is a popular pattern among the classic Bingo Kasuri patterns used in the old days for stray clothes and so on. The fabrics are also popular in NONAKA. Bingo Setsubori is a broad fabric with a rich texture derived from Bingo Kasuri, one of the three major kasuri patterns in Japan. All Bingo Setsubori fabrics are yarn-dyed using natural dyes such as indigo, herb and India ink, and dyed by hand by craftsmen. Even today, they are made slowly and carefully on old-style shuttle looms, with a maximum weaving capacity of only about 30 meters per day. Therefore, it is an extremely precious material that can never be mass-produced. [Products] This balloon-shaped skirt is a patchwork of Bingo Setsubori's multi-checkered pattern and plain Setsubori. The pattern differs from place to place, making it a fun skirt. The shape is soft and rounded, and it shakes and looks cute every time you wear it and move. [Specifications] Two side pockets [Care] We recommend hand-washing by itself as it is dyed with indigo. |
