Description
| The M-1941 jacket is an early 1st pattern adopted by the US Army in HBT material. From the early 1900s, the U.S. Army had adopted blue denim work clothes, but in 1941, the fabric was changed to cotton HBT. At that time, the name was changed from "work" to "fatigues" (general-purpose clothing that can be used not only for work but also for training and combat missions). It has pleated patch pockets on both chests, a shorter length, and action pleats on the back. An adjuster on the side of the hem is also a major characteristic detail of the 1st model only. The jacket was modified to the M-43 model shortly after its adoption, so it is a very short-lived jacket that does not appear on the market very often. *Jacket*. |
