| Smoked Seto-ware bonsai pots. The color is produced in Mikawa, Aichi Prefecture, using the same manufacturing process as that used for ibushi-style roof tiles. Unlike painting, the original ventilation of the pot is not greatly impaired. The pot itself is an unglazed wudo pot, which has high air permeability and moisture retention, and is suitable for growing. It has a simple, traditional shape that harmonizes well with bonsai as well as cactus and succulent plantings. It will gradually take on an old color through careful use.
