Dokla art created by the Gond tribe A rather unique looking Dokla Art figure. It can also be used as a candle holder. Dokla Art Dokla art is a traditional brass craft made by the lost wax technique of the Kondh, an indigenous tribe in southeastern India. Originally, the animals were made with religious meanings, such as as clan animals as symbols of kinship or as symbols of the sacrificial culture. Today, various items are made as crafts*art. *The face, pattern, and other details may vary slightly. Size may vary slightly. *Brass tarnishes over time, but please enjoy it as an age-related change peculiar to the material. *Moisture may cause stains on the surface. ドクラアート
ドクラアートとはインド南東部の先住民族コンド族のロストワックス技法による真鍮の伝統工芸品です。 もともとは血縁象徴の氏族としての動物や、生贄文化の象徴としての動物など、宗教的な意味合いで作られていました。現在は工芸品・アートとして様々なものが作られています。
※インドでのハンドメイドの商品となり、顔・模様等、細かい部分で多少異なる場合がございます。表記のサイズは多少の誤差がございます。
※真鍮は年月とともに変色する性質がありますが、素材特有の経年変化として楽しんでください。
