Dokla art created by the Gond tribe

A rather unique looking Dokla Art figure. It can also be used as a candle holder.

Dokla Art

Dokla art is a traditional brass craft made by the lost wax technique of the Kondh, an indigenous tribe in southeastern India. Originally, the animals were made with religious meanings, such as as clan animals as symbols of kinship or as symbols of the sacrificial culture. Today, various items are made as crafts*art.

*The face, pattern, and other details may vary slightly. Size may vary slightly.

*Brass tarnishes over time, but please enjoy it as an age-related change peculiar to the material.

*Moisture may cause stains on the surface. When wet, wipe dry with a soft cloth.

*There may be discoloration or greenish-blue due to oxidation, etc., or adhesions from the mold at the time of production.

*Because the product is made from recycled waste materials, there may be impurities in the product.
