春夏らしいカラーのお花柄をブロックプリントで施しています。
幸せを運ぶ鳥と呼ばれる愛らしいハチドリのシルエットがさりげなく刺繍されています。
ブロックプリントとは、木彫り版でハンコを押すように1柄ずつ1色ずつプリントされたものです。
まずアウトラインとなる柄のスタンプを押していき、その後色を乗せていきます。
使われている色の数だけ作業は複雑になっていきます。
全て手作業の為、染ムラやスタンプの境目などが少し出ていますが、それがブロックプリントの良さでもあり、風合いとなっております。
