| This knife is based on Izumimamori Kanetada, the favorite sword* of Hijikata Toshizo, who was also an excellent swordsman and was called "Oni no XVIII" of the Shinsengumi, and is particular about the design of its sheath and blade pattern. The distinctive Sanbonsugi blade pattern is reminiscent of the famous sword that Toshizo loved to use at that time. |
