| Bags made of guduri (two to three layers of old fabrics such as cotton saris with stitching) Oversized for everyday use or travel. The shoulder length is adjustable, so it can be shortened to hang over the shoulder or lengthened to hang cross-shoulder. One side is patchwork and the other side is a single piece of fabric, so you can use whichever side you like on the outside. Guduri (Rally Quilt) Guduri is a word for stitching that comes from Gujarat in Western India. To reinforce a worn cloth, two layers of cloth are joined and stitched on top of each other. This traditional technique, born from a heart that cherishes things, takes time and effort to renew the cloth. |
