| [SION Natural Stone Power Stone] Shell pearls are man-made pearls that are cultivated with the same quality "natural shell nucleus" used to cultivate genuine pearls. Pearl essence or "pearl foil" is applied over and over again to the original pearl to create the nacreous layer. The nacreous layer produces a soft glow with an aurora borealis effect, which is caused by the multi-layered reflection of light peculiar to pearls and is called "teri". Shell pearls are not as expensive as genuine pearls, but in terms of quality and cost performance, they are as good as genuine pearls. Genuine pearls that are nearly spherical in shape and free from scratches and dents are very rare and expensive.
